A cool site to hold a team building scavenger hunt in Greenwich Village

Event Description:  A compelling site for a corporate team building event, historic Greenwich Village is a neighborhood ripe with opportunies for sleuthing for clues, amidst musicians and chess players, dog walkers and basketball players.

Location History:   In the late 1600s it was the best tobacco plantation in the colony. During the 1850s and beyond it was an area of grand merchant-owned townhouses. By the 20th Century, the wealthy had mostly moved uptown, paving the way for artists, and actors, anarchists and revolutionaries…as well as Beat Generation poets like Kerouac and Ginsburg. Scintillating Greenwich Village, with its many faces –Bohemian, Alternative, Gentrified — is the base for a unique treasure hunt in the Big Apple.

During your corporate team building treasure hunt…you may see: a colorful floor mosaic in Washington Square…a mural of famous jazzmen…a plaque to Dutch teachers on the walls of NYU…

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.

Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:
