Seemingly locked in time, the lovely Northern California coastside – from Half Moon Bay down south to Pescadero – has it all: historic towns, majestic redwoods, rolling farmland, and some of the world’s best surfing at Mavericks. Less known, perhaps, is the region’s reputation for sweet, organic produce, the freshest fish and delicious breads and cheeses. During this culinary treasure hunt adventure, you’ll solve clues up and down the coastside area, acquiring various foodstuffs for a gourmet picnic which you ALL help prepare. During your coastside food treasure hunt, you may visit an organic dairy; a roadside strawberry stand; a fishing boat with fresh salmon for sale, a restaurant known for its artichoke soup, and a whole lot more – the whole kettle of fish, in fact.

Gather at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Moss Beach
Introductions/Ice Breakers/Rules–30 minutes
- Stage 1 Hunt — 45 minutes (optional)
- Midbrief and Discussion of Roles & Ground Rules — 30 minutes
- Stage 2 Hunt –90-120 minutes
- Team Building Wrap-Up & Discussion–30 minutes
