A cool site to hold a team building exercise in Morristown

Dr. Clue Morristown treasure hunt scavenger hunt for corporate team building

Event Description: An intriguing site for a corporate team building event, Morristown — settled in 1715 — has a rich and significant history…as varied as any city in colonial America.

Location History: It was here that George Washington and the Continental Army encamped during the winters of the Revolutionary War. Benedict Arnold was court-martialed at Dickerson’s Tavern on Spring Street in Morristown, not for treason, but on lesser charges related to profiteering from military supplies at Philadelphia. And Alexander Hamilton courted and wed Betsy Schuyler at the Morristown residence used by Washington’s personal physician. In the 19th Century, Samuel F. B. Morse and Alfred Vail built the first telegraph at the Speedwell Iron Works in Morristown. (The first telegraph message was ‘A patient waiter is no loser.’) Today, the town has a quieter, less-momentous feeling, hosting a wide selection of restaurants and boutique shops. But the echoes of history remain.

During your corporate team building treasure hunt…you may encounter a statue dedicated to seeing eye dogs; a plaque about valiant telephone workers; and a sundial commemorating General George Washington.

Dr. Clue Gives You Three Ways to Customize Your Hunt Program

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.   Read more about our 3 ways to customize your teambuilding event.
