A cool site to hold a team building scavenger hunt in Norfolk

Event Description: An engaging site for a corporate team building event,  historic Norfolk — founded in 1682 — is a city on the water. Even its logo — an elegant young mermaid — symbolizes Norfolk’s 300 years of maritime and naval heritage.

Location History: In the spring of 1862, the Battle of Hampton Roads took place off the northwest shore of the city’s Sewell’s Point Peninsula, marking the first fight between two ironclads, the USS Monitor and the CSS Virginia. Today, a visit to shiny, refurbished Norfolk would include the battleship U.S.S. Wisconsin, the Nauticus Aquarium, the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, and an easily-walked downtown waterfront.

During your corporate team building treasure hunt…you may encounter a giant sailor; oriental gardens; a remembrance to purple hearts; a statuesque mermaid, and much, much more.

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.

Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:
