A historic site to hold a teambuilding scavenger hunt in Asheville

Event Description: An intriguing place for a corporate teambuilding event, Asheville boasts fantastic Art Deco architecture throughout the town’s restored historical districts, transforming it into a haven for quaint, trendy shops and interesting boutiques.

Location History:  Known these days as perhaps North Carolina’s premier art town, Asheville has certainly seen its ups and downs.  A boom in the 20’s was followed a decade later by a rough Depression period, memorialized in Thomas Wolfe’s “Look Homeward, Angel“.  As a result of Asheville’s slow economic recovery, however, there was little new construction, rendering the downtown district fundamentally unaltered.

During your corporate teambuilding treasure hunt… expect to encounter a lion-headed gargoyle; a giant flat iron; a mysterious “cat walk”; dancing sculptures; a memorial to Thomas Wolfe, and much, much more.

Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
