A fun site to hold a team building scavenger hunt in Downtown Boston
Event Description: A fascinating site for a corporate team building event, Boston’s downtown area is a joy to explore. Here’s your chance to live out the movie “National Treasure”! From Faneuil Hall to Boston Commons, this one-mile section of the “Freedom Trail” in many ways embodies the American Revolution.
Location History: Here you’ll find the cemetery where Paul Revere, John Hancock and Samuel Adams were buried; the Old North Church, where Revere hung his famous warning lanterns; and the Old State House, site of the 1770 Boston Massacre. Walking through these 20-square blocks of Old Boston, one can almost hear Frederick Douglass speaking out for freedom or Samuel Adams planning the details of the Boston Tea Party. By following the Freedom Trail, you are truly walking on the shoulders of giants.
During your corporate team building treasure hunt…expect to encounter animal statues to both democrats and republicans; a memorial to ancient dentistry; a giant teapot; and a statue of Mercury.
Not every corporate team building program is the same. Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions. Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions. Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology. Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:
