Today it’s a quiet and friendly place, with a fine swimming beach, the upscale L’Auberge hotel and resort, and elegant restaurants and shopping. Your Dr. Clue treasure hunt in Del Mar explores the delightful commercial and residential districts; the giant compass mosaic at the Plaza; the historic photo gallery in Stratford Square; and the well-tended lawns of Powerhouse and Seagrove Parks.
