Watch our 2-minute video preview to see what a typical Dr. Clue program looks and feels like!
In the late 1600s it was the best tobacco plantation in the colony. During the 1850s and beyond it was an area of grand merchant-owned townhouses. By the 20th Century, the wealthy had mostly moved uptown, paving the way for artists, and actors, anarchists and revolutionaries…as well as Beat Generation poets like Kerouac and Ginsburg. Scintillating Greenwich Village, with its many faces-Bohemian, Alternative, Gentrified-is the base for Dr. Clue’s very first treasure hunt in the Big Apple. Sleuth for clues in one of world’s great neighborhoods, amidst musicians and chess players, dog walkers and basketball players. Along the way, you may see: a colorful floor mosaic in Washington Square…a mural of famous jazzmen…a plaque to Dutch teachers on the walls of NYU… So grab your beret and your magnifying glass and come on down to the Village!
