California’s fifth largest city, Long Beach is enjoying a true renaissance, SoCal style. From its humble origins in 1897 with a population of 1,500, the City has grown to an estimated population of 440,000, home to a world-class convention center, a dazzling aquarium and, of course, the historic Queen Mary. Over the last ten years, a $650-million renovation of the Long Beach waterfront has led to a whole new feeling in town, with trendy shops and restaurants lining classy Pine Street, making it an “it” place on Friday nights. Your Dr. Clue treasure hunt in Long Beach will take you to a beautiful mural of the LB beach scene; one of Southern California’s largest and most varied bookstores; and a photo gallery of the area’s historic past. Come experience the transformation of this lovely coastal town as you hunt down its hidden treasures.

Gather on Ocean at Promenade, between Pine and Long Beach Blvd.
Introductions/Ice Breakers/Rules–30 minutes
