A fun place to hold a team building scavenger hunt in Sacramento
Event Description: With its wooden sidewalks, brick buildings, and cobblestone streets, Old Sacramento maintains much of the look of olden days—thanks to a $100-million restoration. It’s one of Dr. Clue’s premier teambuilding treasure hunt locations–safe, flat for walking, and atmospheric.
Location History: From the moment James Marshall discovered gold at Sutter’s Mill on a chilly January morning in 1848, Sacramento (and California) history would never be the same. Your Dr. Clue treasure hunt in old Sacramento steps back in time to the old Gold Rush days, when young men left their homes by the thousands in pursuit of wild-west riches.
During your teambuilding treasure hunt… expect to find a 1926 paddlewheeler; a monument to the Pony Express; the Lady Adams Building (from 1852); and the Southern Pacific Railway Depot. In the late 1840s, all roads truly led to Sacramento!
Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:
Not every corporate team building program is the same. Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions. Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions. Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology. Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
