A cool site to hold a teambuilding scavenger hunt in Charlotte Uptown
Whether you call it Uptown or Downtown, Charlotte is a cool place. Lots of history, tons of statues, plaques, murals, monuments and historical signs, it’s kind of the perfect place for a scavenger hunt. Come play our game and get to know a relatively unknown civic treasure. Dr. Clue says: cool scavenger hunt!
Event Description: An exciting place to participate in a corporate teambuilding event, Charlotte is one of the fastest growing of U.S. cities — the largest metro area between Atlanta and Washington, D.C..
Location History: Charlotte Nicknamed The Queen City, (in honor of Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg, wife of Britain’s King George III), Charlotte offered considerable opposition to the English during the American Revolution, prompting General Cornwallis to dub Charlotte “a hornet’s nest of rebellion” (leading to another of the city’s nickname: The Hornet’s Nest). A traditional center for gold mining, Charlotte today is the second largest banking headquarters in the United States after New York City.
During your corporate teambuilding treasure hunt… expect to encounter glittering mosaics on a chaise lounge; a statue celebrating the town’s “golden” past; a giant disc; the answer to why the South has produced so many good writers, and so much more.

Not every corporate team building program is the same. Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions. Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions. Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology. Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
