A fun site to hold a team building scavenger hunt in the Franklin Institute

Event Description: A stimulating site for a corporate team building event,  the Franklin Institute — chartered and opened in 1824 “for the promotion of the mechanic arts,” — is one of the best (and grandest) science museums in the country.  In part a memorial to Benjamin Franklin, the museum in many ways perpetuates Franklin’s legacy of scientific inquiry (as well as showcases many of his personal effects). Here you’ll find the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial, featuring a 20-foot-high statue sculpted by James Earle Fraser, sitting within its own rotunda; The Tuttleman IMAX Theater; The Fels Planetarium; a large-scale walk-through human heart; the Baldwin 60000 steam locomotive; and the Wright Brothers Aeronautical Engineering Collection.

During your corporate team building treasure hunt…expect to encounter: the mural of space; an exhibit for building a plane; operatic life cycles; a Morse Code office, and much more.

Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
