A cool place to hold a team building scavenger hunt on the Peninsula.
Event Description: Relatively little-known around the Bay Area, Coyote Point is charming, natural venue for teambuilding, boasting golf course, a marina, a variety of playgrounds, and the state-of-the-art Museum for Environmental Education.
Location History: Originally an island in San Francisco Bay with a marsh connecting it to the mainland, Coyote Point was owned by the Howard Family until 1942. Home to a pier for lumber loading, a dairy pasture, a bathhouse and pool, the area was transformed in 1922 into the glittering “Pacific City Amusement Park”, which included a boardwalk, children’s playground, scenic railway, merry-go-round, Ferris wheel, dancing pavilion and several food concessions. Sadly, a fire during the second season destroyed about one quarter of the development, and it never opened for a third season.
During your teambuilding treasure hunt… expect to encounter a giant statue of sea animals; a memorial to the military university that once stood here; a sign about the marine life clues, and much, much more. Don’t miss our latest treasure hunt on the mid-Peninsula!
Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:
Not every corporate team building program is the same. Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions. Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions. Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology. Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.
