A fun place to hold a team building scavenger hunt in Chicago

Event Description:  Attractively situated in the lakefront museum campus, this classic structure is minutes from downtown but seemingly worlds away from the city’s the hustle and bustle.

Location History:  Founded in 1893 to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World’s Columbian Exposition, the Field Museum is one of the finest natural history museums on the planet.

During your corporate team building treasure hunt…you’ll gawk at Sue the Tyrannosaurus Rex (one of the best preserved in the world), explore ancient Egyptian tombs, and come face to face with lions and zebras and bushmen. Treasure hunting at the Field Museum is like sleuthing your way around the world and back in time. Admission not included in program fee.

Not every corporate team building program is the same.  Depending on your group, your focus may be integrating new people into the team and breaking down personal boundaries and divisions.    Or you may have an existing department where teams could, with a little practice, cooperate and communicate more smoothly across teams and divisions.  Or you might simply have a group that thrives on the use of technology.    Let Dr. Clue customize your hunt program by selecting the content focus that best matches your group and your needs.

Here’s Dr. Clue himself, Dave Blum, sharing his thoughts about this teambuilding scavenger hunt:

Gather in front of the Museum

  1. Introductions/Ice Breakers/Rules–30 minutes
  2. Hunt ~120 minutes
  3. Team Building Wrap-Up & Discussion–30 minutes
